Welcome to this blog for the "YMCA Playing to Learn: Outdoor Pedagogy" project.

This is a safe space! A space where you share questions, ideas, innovative practices, concerns, etc. As a reminder, you can contribute as much as you like but are not expected to post more than twice per month (about 10 minutes of your time each month). The blog will be available for about 6 months after your outdoor play training. Feel free to anonymize yourself, center, and especially any children or other educators. If you post pictures or videos, please try to make sure the children are not identifiable in any way. 

The blog is for ELPs only and myself (Debra) and one research assistant (Simran). At times, we may comment or ask all of you a question, which of course you can choose to respond to or not. We hope to have ongoing communication with our participants throughout the project as we learn together. 

In mud, laughter, and great excitement, we welcome you on this journey to rekindle our interest in outdoor play!
